Live in Your Living Room is a professional house concert network in Europe and the United States. Live in Your Living Room organizes the concerts and manages a co-operation between hosts, artists and visitors, also producing a selection of its concerts for a variety of uses. Our active concert series of around 100 shows a year include The Netherlands, Belgium, New York City, Barcelona, and our latest additions all over Germany and the UK.
Live in Your Living Room provides a great opportunity to see your favorite artists up close and personal. At the same time, most live music excel in an intimate setting, and this is the idea that conceived Live in Your Living Room. Because of both the high number and profile of participating artists, Live in Your Living Room is widely recognised as an important addition to regular concert venues and as a stage for musical performances in its own right. After eight successful years, the living room has become to be regarded as an important addition to performance platforms. This “podium” hosts not only singer/songwriters, but many bands have also performed in our living room concerts. Listen to great music, hang out, meet great people: the vibe is priceless.
The idea is simple: three acts perform in an acoustic setting and in the intimacy of a private living room. The living room is provided by a host motivated to have artists perform in their home. Admission is public, and each of the bands play a set of 15 to 25 minutes before a 20-minute intermission where the audience and performers can enjoy refreshments and interact. After the intermission each band performs a second set of 15 to 25 minutes, while the audience receives information from the artists regarding their work during the performances.
Each concert usually starts at 8 p.m. The donation at the door is usually 10 euros/dollars and includes food and drinks.
